Semaforo
The large villa "Semaforo di Monte Grosso" with its 300sqm and the small adjoining house offers space for 12 people.
The large outdoor area with infinity pool, outdoor kitchen, sauna and whirlpool leaves nothing to be desired
Outside
The absolute highlight in the outdoor area is of course the heated infinity pool with a view of Porto Ferraio.
In the spacious lounge area you can relax with an aperitivo before continuing to dine outdoors at a table for 12 under the picturesque pergola.
A whirlpool and sauna with a panoramic view offer plenty of space for relaxation even in the colder seasons.
In the outdoor kitchen with a herb garden, you can have a relaxed barbecue for the whole family.
Behind the house there is a large lawn that invites you to play or sunbathe
Next to the "Casa nel Giardino" there is another small seating area with a pizza oven.
Rooms&Bathrooms
On the ground floor of the semaforo is a bedroom and right next to it is a bathroom with a freestanding bath and a walk-in shower.
In the garden of the Semaforo there is a small house, the "Casa nel Giardino" with a double bed and a private bathroom with a shower.
The remaining bedrooms are upstairs. There are 3 bedrooms with 180cm wide double beds and one with a bunk bed.
Furthermore, there are two bathrooms on the upper floor, both of which are equipped with walk-in showers. The bathroom next to the room Rosmarino also has a bathtub.
Position
The houses on the Monte Grosso have a unique location in the middle of the national park with a breathtaking 360° view over the island of Elba and the Tyrrhenian Sea.
You get to the house via a private road that may only be used by residents.
A two-kilometer gravel road in the national park leads to the house. An off-road vehicle is not required , but lowered vehicles are not recommended.
The small village Cavo is about 15 minutes away by car
The building is located directly on the GTE hiking route (Grande Traversata Elbana), the main hiking route on Elba, which runs across the entire island. In addition to hikers, wild goats, moufflons and migratory birds often pass by here.
Since the plots of land on the Semaforo are very quiet and secluded, the house's main power supply comes from solar panels on the roofs of the houses. The water supply comes from our own artesian well
