You can take your own car to the island with one of the ferry companies from Piombino or Livorno. Moby Lines Sat You can also arrive by plane from Pisa and, upon prior reservation, pick up a rental car directly at the airport

It is important that you have a suitable car as the approach involves several kilometers of private gravel road. The entrance is blocked off with a chain with a code so that only authorized vehicles can use the road. You will receive the code from us before your arrival.

There are enough hand/bath towels and bed linen for all guests in the house. The beds are all made up with high-quality organic cotton bed linen upon your arrival. (For longer stays, we wash and change the bed linen and towels.)

There are washing machines and dryers in both Casa del Capitano and Semaforo that you are welcome to use. We would only like to ask you to only use the devices during the day if possible, as we mainly generate our electricity from our own solar systems and would like to avoid switching on the generator for the sake of the environment.

You may bring housetrained dogs. However, your animals are not allowed on the couch/beds and should always be kept away from the furniture.

Normally someone from our team will be on site at a time agreed with you from 4 p.m. on the day of arrival. If this is not possible in terms of time, or if you arrive relatively late, you will receive the code for a key box from us.
